Hope is the fuel for action
— even in troubled times!
THE WORLD CAN BE A
Have you ever looked at an aspect of your life, your community, your nation or the world and said “Something has got to change?”
When we look at people who have created positive change in the world -- called "hopeful actors" -- there is so much that we can learn from them!
In this live, interactive virtual workshop, Dr. Cynthia Ganote will walk you through the qualities and practices that hopeful actors employ, and guide you on a journey to unlock your own “hopeful actor” potential. Your own inner potential as a hopeful actor is tied to your deepest values, your highest visions for your life and your community, and your most powerful gifts.
In this 1 1/2 hour workshop, you will:
-
Discover a new model for transformative change'
-
Connect to your own vision for yourself, your community, your nation and/or the world -- and YOU choose the arena in which you want to apply hopeful action!;
-
Activate or amplify your own hope and inspiration; and
-
Create Your Hopeful Action Plan!
In this workshop, you'll move beyond the vague sense of “something’s got to change in my life (or community, nation, or world)” towards knowing exactly what YOU will do next to be part of the change you want to see.
It’s about becoming a beacon of hope in action.
CHALLENGING PLACE
This workshop is designed for individuals who are ready to take inspired, effective steps toward a better future -- for yourself, your community, your nation and/or your world!
In this transformative workshop, you'll discover how hopeful actors—both past and present—have approached creating positive change. By weaving together their voices and experiences, we will explore and apply the traits that sustain hopeful actors over the long haul. You'll gain practical insights and strategies to fuel your passion and drive impactful action in your own life and community.
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
INSPIRATION FROM CHANGE MAKERS
By weaving together voices from past and present who created positive change in the world, we can learn from examples of hopeful actors who have already been through hard times and modeled actions we can take.
HOW TO CULTIVATE RESILIENCY
Together, we will explore and apply the traits that sustain hopeful actors over the long haul. Discover the key traits and mindsets that keep hopeful actors motivated and resilient, even in the face of adversity.
THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNITY
We’re stronger together. We’re more powerful together. And we’re more hopeful together. By metaphorically linking arms, we can create a united community of like-minded individuals who are ready to stand together and find strength in unity, support, and shared goals.
If we follow the examples of others, we can be inspired to take action through difficult times. We don’t have to do this alone!
